Managed all aspects of the DOTNETSA lab:

  • 130 servers. 10 for infrastructure, remainder for development projects.
  • Facilities management: 2000sf raised floor data center computer lab.
  • Team domain management, DHCP, DNS, users, etc.

  • Maintained the lab and training facility, with normal business flow, during a large building remodel with a focus of making the computer lab a glass room and showplace. During the remodel, the lab was kept running and we didn’t loose any equipment.
  • Completely virus free lab. All servers were patched and double checked for updates keeping us malware free.

Lab Engineer: Enterprise Computing labs.

  • Troubleshooting and repair of all server issues.
  • Setup new backup library with Veritas Network Executive, managed lab backup.
  • Setup new file server for team with ~1tb of local attached storage.
  • Created asset management system to help control assets within the lab.
  • Project setup which included identifying equipment to use, loading the O.S, software load and network setup.
